On this website, you will be able to trace our family history and find out more about our roots in the Eastern Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in Bashu Isale. I'm so excited to have you join us on this journey as we connect, share stories, traditions, and memories. OUR STORY
Mr. Bwambale Sebastiano Mawa was an extraordinary man whose life was a testament to the power of hard work, resilience, and determination. Born on (*******) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and passing away on April 21, 2016, at Kagando hospital in Kasese, Uganda. Mzee Mawa was the grandson of Kahuru and the son of Buliko. His childhood in Congo was filled with poverty, yet his hard work and dedication allowed him to rise to success in his adult life in Kasese, Uganda.
As a young adult, Mzee Mawa worked as a houseboy in Katwe, Kasese, Uganda. Through his hard work and dedication, he was able to create his own destiny and become successful. Mzee Mawa owned a wide variety of properties, such as shops, boats on Lake Edward at Katwe and Kayanja fishing centers, acres of land, banana plantations, eucalyptus trees, and houses. He had shops in Kayanja, Katwe, Kinyamaseke, Karambi, Bwera, and Katolhu.
In addition to his business success, his story serves as an inspiration to those who strive for success in spite of any hardships they may face. His inspiring journey is one that will never be forgotten, and his remarkable story will always be remembered as an example of what can be achieved when one perseveres in the face of adversity.
